Walt Disney World

New & limited Walt Disney World ticket released

So it seems there is a new Walt Disney World ticket that has just been released… yes I thought it was an April fools too as they were posted yesterday but its actually on a couple of ticket websites so clearly its not!

Floridatix.com  tells us that its a limited ticket and is only on sale until the 31 July 2016.  It doesn’t give you the option to buy it for 2017 trips either but if you havent already gotten your Disney tickets for your 2016 or just want a quick fix then this might be the way to go.

The only downside to it is that it is a 2 day/2 park ticket meaning its not a Hopper ticket so one park per day. It’s not clear also if you have to use them consecutively or you have say 7 or 14 days to use the second day after you to use the first so just check that if you go to book them.

The other good thing with this ticket is that you also get a free round of mini golf – again its not explained when/where or if you have to use that also within the 2 days but I do imagine it to be a round of golf per person/ticket at of course on of Disneys mini golf courses but again just check before you book.

The reason for this ticket I think is probably due to the massive changes Walt Disney World are doing to their parks at the moment – myself and Alex have already talked about the fact there won’t be much left at Hollywood Studios to do at the moment whilst they build and introduce their new ‘lands’ – I am all for change but there has been a lot going on at Hollywood Studios the last 6 months and of course the introduction of TWO new areas in Pixar and Star Wars land it is bound to disjoint the park and create a lot of upheaval (and annoyance to a degree!).  It will be absolutely amazing though when its all finished i have no doubt about it and will be soon back to its good old days of being a park you would be crazy to miss !!  Theres also been quite a bit of work going on at Animal Kingdom too what again with them incorporating Avatar Land (which i have to admit is going to freak me out a little i think!) and the work they have been doing on the Rivers of Light experience but to be fair I don’t feel there has been as much as an impact on the rides at Animal Kingdom than there has been at Hollywood Studios.

So, what parks would you choose to visit if you could only choose two… i would probably chose Magic Kingdom & Epcot at this moment in time..

Anyway back to the tickets 🙂 … last year we booked our 21 day disney tickets from Floridatix – they allowed us to pay a small deposit with the remainder due approx 4 months before we flew. As soon as we’d made the final payment they sent me the Disney Ticket Identification Numbers (DSSN) which incase they were to get lost or we were to leave them at home for example then they would be traceable by Disney who would be able to replace/reprint. The tickets were also sent recorded delivery so was easily tracked and required a signature on delivery.  By booking pretty much any ticket via Floridatix you will be entitled to a good few freebies which is great – the freebies on this particular ticket are:

FREE $10 Planet Hollywood Voucher for every booking*
FREE Entry into Wild Florida Park for 2016 bookings
FREE Florida Mall vouchers to save you $$$s
FREE Play 4Less voucher for great savings
FREE Voucher for 10% off USA Car Hire with Alamo

At the minute Planet Hollywood is actually being refurbished but they have very kindly taken that into account and replaced it with an alternative voucher to dine at Buca Di Beppo.

We got really good service from Floridatix and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.  They also have a price guarantee so if you do find cheaper else where they will do their best to match the price.

Hope this helps and speak to all again soon !
