Remember our ‘where to stay on our last night’ blog a few months ago well it was kinda out of our hands to a degree as far as the possibility of staying on Walt Disney World property again as there were NO DVC studios available AT ALL!
I was surprise until I found out that weekend it was Dapper Day at Epcot AND a MVMCP so I’m really not surprised!
We have chosen to book 2 nights at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando again as one of the main issues we have is the fact we have to be off the ship on the Friday by like 9am so should be back in Orlando by 11am meaning if we had only booked the one night we wouldn’t be able to check in until like 4pm …. we want to be at Magic Kingdom by 4pm at the latest as that’s our MVMCP night(!!) so by booking two nights (for probably the same price as one night at a Walt Disney World value resort) we will be able to check in as soon as we arrive which will be sooo much better!
This time we booked through – they were the cheapest we found and ended up being only around a £40/night mark too!
Being on international Drive will mean not only an easy drive to the airport the following day but we will leave our baggage at the hotel while we go out and explore the International Drive area too. I don’t think we’ll waste our time or money on using the Downtown Disney Virgin check in this year – there’s just no point being so close to the Airport we would just be going back on ourselves.
We WILL though of course be paying a visit to Millers Ale House without a doubt…. mmmm! I also want to do the Orlando Eye – it opened while we were there last year but we didn’t get to go unfortunately 🙁
The countdown is going quick guys… have you seen this week’s #triptalktuesday video…. if not check it out here & let me know who YOU would get dressed up as 🙂
