Disney Dining Snacks To Bring Home

Our most recent Disney vacation had as standard the Disney Dining Plan and so in addition to the one quick service meal, a refillable cup AND a table service meal per day, we were too eligible for two snacks per day per person as well!

We had many snacks throughout the holiday but the majority of which had to be eaten at the time; ice creams, ice lollies, slushes, cupcakes etc.  Even thought they were ‘free’ (or rather we had pre paid for them depending on how you look at it!) I still felt the need to only get a couple of slushes between the four of us, or share an toffee sundae ice cream… I just couldn’t help it!  I didn’t want to see things to go waste!

Doing that meant we had a few snack credits left by the end of the holiday which we exchanged for things we could take home with us so today I’m sharing with you my top 5 Disney dining snacks available for you to take home as either gifts or souvenirs.

Disney Dining snack Credit Uses

Popcorn

There are TONS of different popcorns throughout the parks.  Just be sure to head actually in the stores to find them likely hung up in bags.  Don’t be tempted to head to the popcorn carts as they will just give them to you in a tub and you’ll need to eat it there and then!  In the World Showcase in Germany they have a little bakery style store called Karamell-Küche who WILL bag you up some freshly made German caramel popcorn though!

Goofys candy

When you walk into Goofys candy down at Disney Springs you can just tell pretty much everyone there are redeeming their left over credits.  It gets soooo busy!  But it’s such a useful place exchange them because there is something for everyone!  You may have to ask what’s classed as a snack credit as I did a few times as it wasn’t as clear as other places but if you see the DDP logo against any item of food; it means its classed as a snack.

Candy floss

We brought home a couple of tubs of candy floss and a bag too.  Because the tubs were sealed they lasted a lot longer than the bag.  By the time we got home the floss in the bag didn’t look as appetising as it was when we bought it put it that way but the tubs were absolutely fine.

Rice Krispie treat

This is a another snack that is sealed and which totally lasted the journey home.  Very well packaged and specifically Mickey head shaped; makes a lovely Disney-fied gift.

Toffee apple

If you manage to get this back to your hotel and in your bag without it melting, it will last just fine here in the UK! It does makes a perfect treat for a Halloween party too!

About

I’m Kirsty.  A mother of two (three if you include the hubby!) and I created this blog back in 2016 as a way to make myself accountable for the savings I had to make myself to my day to life after reducing my hours at work.

Childcare costs would’ve meant I was pretty much working for nothing and we refused to pay it!

It is now my mission to help other Mum’s find ways of doing the same & show that you can live within your means without feeling deprived.  The blog will provide you with ways you can make some extra money online, share frugal living tips you can take away and use yourself and encourage you to manage your money correctly!

Luxury doesn’t have to mean buying a Chanel bag or having a Ferrari on your drive but if you budget well, watch your spends, make the right decisions then you just never know… by cutting down or saving on just one element from your life may open other doors to things that you’ve only ever dreamt about!
