A few Sundays ago I decided to sign up the kids for a local Junior Park Run.
I always knew there was one nearby but for some reason, I had it in my mind that it was on a Saturday and so never bothered really looking any further into it because we have other activities on a Saturday morning & couldn’t make it anyway.
But having seen a friend on Facebook post a picture of his little girl taking part in their local one I decided to take another look… imagine my husband’s excitement when we

Our Junior Park Run is a 2k run around a local park that starts at 9.00am. They say it starts at 9.00am, and you do really need to get there for then if it is your first time, but they tend to not start the run itself until
Park Run registration
It is completely FREE and first-time runners need to pre-register and print off a barcode. It is that barcode that those located at the finish line will scan as and when you cross it. This will prompt an email later on in the same with your time, position and your personal best.
Parents can run but only children between 4 and 14 can run and have their times recorded.
