Ingredients for easy roasted potatoes
Maris Piper Potatoes (
Beef stock cube
Salt
Pepper
How To Make Crispy Potatoes
Time needed: 45 minutes.
- Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees
and pop in a roasting tin or pyrex tray to get hot.
- Bring to the boil a pan of water
- Cut the potatoes to your desired roast potatoes size and pop in to the boiling water
Par boil the potatoes for 10 minutes
- Mix one Oxo cube with boiling water as directed
- Drain the water and rough up the edges in the colander!
- Remove the roasting tin from the oven, evenly spread out the potatoes and pour over the stock
You are more likely to get crispy potatoes if you use a tin/tray.
- Season with salt and pepper if desired and spray with frylight
- Place back in the oven for around 30 minutes checking thereafter for your desired crisp and colour.
